It’s no secret that we here at Fashionista like to support and invest in brands that are working towards more sustainable and environmentally conscious methods for the fashion industry as a whole. We can make the broadest statement in the world that we like to shop, but in recent years (and let’s face it, especially in 2017) the brands that are helping to improve the world in some way tend to curry favor in hearts.

Eileen Fisher, the designer best known for her line of comfortable basics, has cemented her namesake label as a brand at the forefront of sustainability commitments and social impact in the industry.

Before being sustainable was on the tip of everyone’s tongues, Fisher worked to connect all of the dots of her brand – from the fibers used to the supply chain – to ensure that fashion (and her brand specifically) is working toward a more positive impact on the environment and the world, instead of one that is contributing to pollution.
